Varetúo 2022

"Varetúo" is the local name for the Tempranillo grape, probably because its shoots grow like sticks upwards.

Vineyards at 1,300 m altitude. Slate soils, poor and stony.

Vinification: one part (50%) direct pressing and the other destemmed, and all together macerated for 4-5 days. After aging in large 500 lit barrels. for 1 year. Bottled in November 2023.
