Le Coste Rosso 2022

Rosso 2022 is obtained with about 95% Sangiovese grapes, and 5% of Ciliegiolo, Cannaiolo and Vaiano, planted together as per tradition. After de-stemming, all the grapes ferment in contact with their skins for about three weeks, with some crushing or pumping over. At the end of fermentation, after pressing, the wine matures in 10/20 hl chestnut and oak barrels for about 1 year, and then finishes refining for further 6 months in bottle before being marketed.

Fresh and fragrant, with an intense ruby color, very fruity on the nose, clear of cherry, notes of fresh earth and mentholate. In the mouth it has a good structure, played on freshness and with a calm tannin, it expresses itself on the finish with fruity and almond notes of good intensity.
