L'Iris 2022

L'Iris is made from up to 90 years old Chenin Blanc vines grown on soil that is comprised of clay made from decomposed red flint over chalky limestone. Directly pressed into barrels, maturation for 2 years on its lees, no fining, no filtration and no addition of sulfites at any stage. This is already a beautiful wine, extremely well balanced, but it will still get better each year if you can wait...

Appearance: Full bodied, complex, elegant, high acidity, very mineral, green apples, very long finish, oxidized.
