Rosso 2020 is obtained with about 95% Sangiovese grapes, and 5% of Ciliegiolo, Cannaiolo and Vaiano, planted together as per tradition. After de-stemming, all the grapes ferment in contact with their skins for about three weeks, with some crushing or pumping over. At the end of fermentation, after pressing, the wine matures in 10/20 hl chestnut and oak barrels for about 1 year, and then finishes refining for further 6 months in bottle before being marketed.
