BIANCO 2020 fully reflects the vintage: it made a shorter maceration, precisely to best express a more graceful aromatic part, resulting ready at once and easy to drink, while still maintaining a good freshness and a good structure. It was accomplished from the new vineyard of “Vigna Grande” and still partly from the old vineyards, with a prevalence of procanico grapes completed for about 30% by malvasia dicandia and toscana, vermentino, roscetto, pedino, romanesco and ansonica. After de-stemming, the grapes fermented and macerated for about 10 days in French oak truncated cone vats; after pressing, the wine ends fermenting and ages for about a year in 10/20 hl oak barrels, and then rests for further 6 months in bottle before being marketed.
