Theodora is from the third generation of the family and is one of three children that are more forthright, light, bold and energetic. Described as a pert but likable young lady, who takes everyone’s heart by storm with her cheerful and animate manner. She is attractive like her mother and at the same time both impudent and elegant. The prankster at the vineyard Oggau, she is nonetheless most reliable and steady.

Theodora is made from Gruner Veltliner and Welschriesling grapes from 35 years old vines grown on gravel and limestone. Harvested by hand, it stays a couple of hours on the skin before being pressed followed by spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in wooden barrels. Eight months of maturation then bottled without fining, filtration or addition of sulfites.

Appearance: Medium acidity, long finish, dry, tropical, medium bodied.
