Alex Craighead is making wine in the Region of Nelson - North of the South island in New Zealand. He has a small cellar where he craft zero additive wines from different varieties: Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Gewurtraminer, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah, Carbenet Franc, Viognier and Petit Verdot, Pinot Blanc.
He currently farm 11 hectares of grapes across 4 vineyards (a combination of owned and leased), with soil types of clay to gravel and silt.

The Otonõ 2019 is made from Gewürztraminer fermented on the skin for about a week, then the riesling and pinot Gris pressed and added to the spent skin for a day, then everything is blended and aged for several months in Amphora.

Appearence: Minerality, candie Grapefruit, herbal and Grass.
