Gut Oggau - Stephanie & Eduard Tscheppe-Eselböck
Red - Burgenland
Natural | Biodynamic | No Sulfites | Unfiltered |
Mechthild’s and Bertholdi’s son, the brother of Emmeram and Timotheus, and married to Wiltrude. A man with style and a charismatic, complex character, he has a mind of his own. Indeed, as the principal heir to Gut Oggau, with his dry humour and quick wit, he can more than stand up to his father.
Blaufrankish grown on limestone and slate, hand harvested and destemmed. Fermented in used barrels with about 3 weeks skin contact. Maturated in the same barrels for about one year then bottled unfined, unfiltered, no added sulfites.
Appearance: Structured with lovely freshness, spices, light bodied, low tannins, well balanced acidity, elegant and impressive.
