Sauvignon Blanc made from 35 years old vines planted on limestone and clay, as the name suggests - Akmèniné means "made of stone" in Lithuanian. The grapes is harvested by hand in mid-October, directly pressed without skin contact, 30 percent of the grapes have botrytis. Its then fermented in large, 10 to 15 year old barrels with wild yeast. It is aged on its lees and nothing is added or removed from the wine.
